We are 10 minutes to the charming downtown area of Colorado Springs. We are less than 10 minutes to the famous Colorado Springs Zoo. We are 10 minutes to the Garden of the Gods. We are 25 minutes to Colorado Springs airport, and 1 hour and 20 minutes from Denver International airport. The closest Ski area is under 2 hours away. Many of the major Colorado Ski areas can be accessed by car within 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Our Home, which we call the Rainbow Vista House, sits on a hill with both Mountain and City Views. We have breathtaking city views that you can enjoy from the front deck.The name comes because our home sits at a very unique angle which encourages the most amazing rainbows that you have ever seen. Our hope is that you will be fortunate enough to see one after a short Spring, Summer or Fall rainstorm. Many times we have seen double or triple rainbows as well. The east facing deck is also a great place to watch evening lightning storms off in the distance. Centrally located to all of the area’s majestic attractions, The Rainbow Vista House is very light and airy and offers a comfortable style. It is very clean, and offers exceptional value. You’ll experience the best of Colorado Springs as you enjoy the privacy of your vacation rental that offers you written guides and suggestions, should you need them. The downstairs fountain attracts deer and wildlife in all seasons. Beautiful walks and hikes are available right in the neighborhood. Maps are provided. Walk to nature without even getting into a car. We have approximately 3100 Sq feet of comfort. Our Home has 2 complete living areas. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The living room has large picture windows with city views. The lights are spectacular at night. There is also a large family / TV room with sleeper sofa. Don't miss the hot tub on the back porch. The downstairs has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It has it's own kitchen and private entrance. Here we provide a dog pen and fountain that deer and other wildlife frequent year round. One Master bedroom has a King Bed and one has a Queen Bed .Both have their own bathroom. One bedroom has a set of bunk beds, one a double bed and the 5th bedroom has a queen bed. After a long day of sightseeing you’ll be able to soak in a relaxing Hot Tub. We have a Wii Sport set up for multiple users. This provides another outlet for group fun and connection. Traveling with a large group? You won’t feel cramped in this rental, We also offer a sleeper sofa in the family room to accommodate large groups . (up to 12 in beds and 4 more on two air-filled high quality mattresses). Additional amenities include a large and open eat-in kitchen loaded with all the tools you will need to create memorable family feasts. The kitchen features lots of counters with amble cupboard space and a double oven. In the summer enjoy the view and have dinner at the gathering table on the front deck that will sit your whole family.. After enjoying a delicious dinner, you can enjoy time on the swing with a magnificent view of the city lights off in the distance and far below. How better to enjoy Colorado than to relax on your deck or relax in the hot tub with a stunning view of the mountains? Feeling more like a BBQ? Walk through the back door of your house and you will find a fenced side yard with picnic table, gas BBQ, amazing carvings and another swing for two. Other features include 2 Private Laundry Rooms with Washer and Dryer, one upstairs and one downstairs, Private Entrances and Off-Street Parking, 60” HD Television and DVD, WIFI (Wireless Internet), Elliptical exercise machine upstairs, Clock Radios, Coffee maker, Iron, Hairdryer, In the winter, or on a cool summer night if you prefer wood heat, enjoy the warmth from Napoleon Wood Stove in the upstairs living room or the beautiful brick fireplace in the downstairs area. We provide plenty of seasoned wood to accommodate your needs.
